Our family unit moved to France more than a few years ago when my kids were 12 and 14 years old. It was the pivoted instant and we made the choice to alter our life. It as well referred to the instruction of our kids. Less my thoughts to French education is described.
The instructive system of France consists of four basics – Maternelle, c. m., Colleges and Licees.
Kids start to go to school when they are three. When they are eleven, they go to academy and study there till fourteen. Subsequent to it they go to Lycee. Typically little cities and villages have their own c. m. `s and matelnelles. Other than the colleges are as a rule located in large cities and kids from little towns have to live in “internat” which is supervised by people who teach them.
Subsequent to graduation from the university, pupils have to pass the particular exam which is called Brevet and contains three subjects: mathematics, French and sciences. Lots of people believe that Brevet is the corresponding to GCSE, other than it is false. It is not a necessary obligation for additional learning except is attractive to pass this test.
Kids do not mechanically turn into subsequently class. In case the child does not have sufficient information and skills, the teachers can suggest him to do again the program of the present educational year. That is every class of the College, there is an increase of ages. It denotes that the period of studying depends on the keenness and abilities of the kid.
There are a lot of official procedures in the French educational organization. Kids have to stand up when the educator comes into the room. The lessons are full of interactions. As a rule kids are free on Wednesdays and they can devote this day to relax and games. Pupils have to study a number of languages such as English, French, Latin, Spanish and Occitan). The instructive procedure is supervised by the educators.
